Read your first restaurant report

You need to be signed in, and your POS must have sent sales data to Cover.

Read yesterday’s report

1. Open Pulse.
2. Choose Yesterday to review a completed date.
3. Read Sales excluding tax, Covers and Average check. Average check is per cover when covers are available. Otherwise, Cover shows Average per sale. For example, €240 in sales excluding tax and 12 Covers gives an average of €20 per cover. Use the values in your report.
4. Note the update time and data status shown for the report. These tell you what Cover has received so far.
5. Open the menu items from Pulse. Keep the same dates and choose All items to see items without sales too.

You have now read sales, Covers and the average sales amount for one completed day. These are observations from the report; you have not changed any restaurant data.
