Covers
Section titled “Covers”Average check
Section titled “Average check”Average sales per cover for the selected dates when Covers are available. Otherwise, Cover may show Average per sale.
Estimated food cost
Section titled “Estimated food cost”An approximation of ingredient cost for the items sold. The estimate in effect on each item’s sale date is used.
Staff cost
Section titled “Staff cost”An operating estimate based on recorded staff hours, each person's hourly cost, and restaurant cost settings. It is not a payroll statement.
Table duration
Section titled “Table duration”The time between opening and closing a table in the POS. It can differ from the time guests spent dining.
Service period
Section titled “Service period”A range of restaurant local time, such as lunch or evening, used to review part of a day.
Live now
Section titled “Live now”The latest state Cover has received from the POS. It can change during service and does not follow selected report dates.
